Creative Arts and Production Academy

Creative Arts and Production Academy (CAPA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing the arts to the community through theater, education, and cultural events. We believe that everyone is designed to create, and we provide a space where individuals of all ages can develop their talents, build confidence, and connect through the power of the arts. CAPA offers a variety of programs, including:

• Educational Theater Classes for homeschoolers and the community

• Community Theater Productions featuring local talent

• Special Events such as improv nights, father-daughter dances, murder mystery dinners, and more

• Workshops and Summer Camps focused on fine arts and performance

• Concerts and Social Gatherings that bring people together through music and creativity

Our Goal: A bigger Home for CAPA.   

We have grown significantly and are seeking a building to house our programs and expand our impact. We have identified a potential location at 343 West Monroe Avenue in Historic Buckeye, which would allow us to:

• Provide a dedicated performance space for local theater productions

• Create classrooms and rehearsal areas for arts education programs

• Offer a cultural hub for the Buckeye community to enjoy live performances, concerts, and events

• Expand our reach to serve more students, families, and community members

Every dollar raised through AZ Gives will go directly toward building expenses, including: 

✔ Lease and rental costs to secure the space. 

✔ Renovations and improvements to create a functional theater and learning environment. 

✔ Stage, lighting, and sound equipment to enhance performances.
