Cowtown S.K.A.T.E.

Cowtown S.K.A.T.E. is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization building stronger, healthier communities through expanding access to the physical, emotional and mental health benefits of skateboarding to underserved children. 

Most youth sports cost families around $2,500 a year, but skateboarding gives kids the same physical and mental health benefits for about $400 annually. It’s affordable, flexible, and can happen just about anywhere. 

At Cowtown SKATE, we use skateboarding as a tool to help underserved kids build confidence, resilience, and real-life skills — all while having fun. It’s more than just learning tricks — it’s about helping kids see what they’re truly capable of. 

But not every kid has access — and that’s where we come in. With the support of partners and donors, we can get more kids rolling and keep them rolling, giving them a space to grow, belong, and thrive.
