What is Boulder Crest?

Boulder Crest Foundation is the home of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) and a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on ensuring the military, veteran, and first responder communities can live great lives in the aftermath of trauma.

The need is urgent. According to the US Census Bureau, there are 454,620 Armed Services veterans living in Arizona. These men and women who have sacrificed in service to others. Far too many carry the hidden wounds of that service in silence, not because they lack courage, but because traditional approaches to mental health treatment have repeatedly fallen short of meeting their unique needs.

Our mission is to facilitate Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) through transformative programs, world-class training and education initiatives, research, and advocacy. 

Our Arizona ranch is in Sonoita, where our nation's heroes are trained to thrive in the aftermath of trauma. Boulder Crest Foundation's PTG programs are offered at no charge to attendees due to the generosity of our donors. 

Boulder Crest's Impact

In 2025 alone, Boulder Crest trained a record 45,000 people through programs like Warrior PATHH (Progressive & Alternative Training for Helping Heroes), Struggle Well, Family Rest & Reconnection and  PTG Certification for licensed mental health professionals.

In 2025, participants experienced a 58% sustained reduction in PTSD symptoms alongside a 65% increase in Posttraumatic Growth across five domains: Personal Strength, Deeper Relationships, Appreciation of Life, New Possibilities, and Spiritual and Existential Change.
