Arizona Foundation for the Future of Nursing

To ensure Arizona has a sustainable nursing workforce to provide quality care for the health and wellness of our diverse and growing population.

The Arizona Foundation for the Future of Nursing (AzFFN) is the philanthropic arm of the Arizona Nurses Association. The mission is to "Ensure Arizona has a sustainable nursing workforce to provide quality care for the health and wellness of our diverse and growing population." Overseen by the Board of Trustees (BOT), AzFFN is a 501c(3) focused on scholarships, workforce development and support, and leadership. The BOT is comprised of a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, Secretary and 4 Directors at Large. AzFFN is working hard to expand relationships, support innovative programs that align with the mission, and recognize the value of nursing through community outreach. Gifts and grants from generous donors provide the funding resource to support the wellbeing and success of individual nurses, elevate the value of nursing and ensure a sustainable workforce for the healthcare system.

AzFFN was founded in 2000 as the research, education, and charitable affiliate of AzNA. Since then, it has fought tirelessly to advance the nursing profession by raising funds for advances in research, education, workforce, and leadership development to the benefit of Arizona's health care system.

The Foundation relies on the continued generosity of its donors to achieve and expand on its mission. Individuals, corporations, government agencies, and private foundations make it possible to for us to undertake efforts in research, support of nurses, and improve health care for all.
