AriSEIA’s mission is to develop and support policies that create opportunities to advance Arizona’s economy through solar energy, storage, and electrification. AriSEIA accomplishes its mission through charitable and advocacy work statewide.

Fiscal Sponsorship - While AriSEIA is a 501(c)(6), we have partnered with the Solar and Storage Industries Institute as our 501(c)(3) charitable fiscal sponsor to accept charitable revenues on our behalf and ensure they are used for charitable purposes. AriSEIA has a long relationship with the Solar and Storage Industries Institute. They are an exempt organization as described in 501 (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, EIN #88-1327537.

AriSEIA is a statewide organization. We have collaborated with or carried out projects in Navajo County, Apache County, Navajo Nation, Flagstaff, Yavapai County, Maricopa County, Pinal County, Pima County, Mohave County, and the utility service territories of Unisource Electric, Tucson Electric Power, Trico, Sulphur Springs, Arizona Public Service, and Salt River Project.

AriSEIA has Three Primary Charitable Programs:

CONSUMER PROTECTION - We offer statewide trainings to the public and solar installers on buying and selling residential rooftop solar best practices. We also work with solar customers who have solar or utility complaints. You can find more information about this program here.

ENERGY EDUCATION - We work with decision makers, government staff, and the public to better understand how the grid works, how energy is procured and developed, and what factors impact affordability and reliability. This work also includes myth-busting about renewable energy and economic impact and water usage studies, which can be found here.

REGULATORY ANALYSIS - We provide regulatory expertise as to code/ordinance development, solar rate design, and other technical matters to the Arizona Corporation Commission and local governments. Examples of this work can be found here.

AriSEIA is committed to a vision of a reliable, affordable, and decarbonized energy system for Arizona, built on clean technologies, transparent regulation, and fair markets. Communities, businesses, and consumers are empowered by durable policies that support clean energy adoption, grid resilience, and long-term sustainability.
