Brian's City Year Denver Fundraiser

I am supporting City Year Denver because I believe in giving all young people the opportunity to succeed.

City Year is focused on a "Whole School, Whole Child' approach, working to build educational equity and improve educational opportunities for student here in Denver, and around the country. The organization is committed to leveraging the talent, energy and idealism of corps members to serve as tutors, mentors and role models in schools to help students stay engaged and on track in their learning.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted over 120 days of learning in Denver Public Schools since March of 2020. Now students are back in school and working hard to stay on top of their studies, but they are facing what educators are saying is the hardest year yet. Help me support our City Year Denver AmeriCorps members, who are in our schools serving as student success coaches and ensuring that over 5,000 DPS students receive the critical support they need in reconnecting with their school community, re-engaging in their learning, and recovering from lost instructional time.
