Cornerstone Community Development Corp DBA Mercy House Community Center

For over 30 years, Mercy House Community Center has been a cornerstone in the West Valley — providing food, clothing, and educational support to children and families in need.

Founded in 1994 in the Cashion area of Avondale, Mercy House began as a safe place for at-risk youth to receive tutoring, counseling, and encouragement. Today, we continue that legacy by offering emergency food and clothing assistance, after-school programs like Homework Club, and partnerships that provide hygiene essentials, hot meals, and life skills classes for youth and adults.

Our mission is to empower residents to overcome generational barriers and build self-sufficient, thriving lives through education, resources, and opportunity.
