Mental illness impacts one in five people in the US, and one in six children under age 18. On average there are 130 deaths by suicide each day in the US. Mental illness is widespread, and the stigma against it is even more so. NAMI Southern Arizona offers no-cost education, support and advocacy to those with mental illness and their families.
