Kids' Chance sponsors in-person events statewide to raise money for the scholarships we award. Most of those events have been cancelled in the last two years. The families we serve have been disproportionately affected by Covid. Very often, they work at lower wage, heavy labor jobs that cannot be done remotely. When an adult family member is killed or seriously injured on the job, their wages are immediately reduced to 66%, often forcing difficult choices between rent or tuition. Kids' Chance supports the dream of a better life through education, making that struggle just a bit easier to bear.
