At the Humane Society of Sedona (HSS), we live our mission every day: to improve the lives of companion animals in our community. Our vision is to create a caring community where every adoptable and treatable animal finds a lifelong, loving home.

As the only free-standing, local animal welfare organization within a 20+ mile radius, HSS provides critical, life-saving services to animals who have nowhere else to turn. We are proud to be a Best Friends No-Kill Shelter, ensuring that no healthy or treatable animal is ever euthanized due to lack of space or resources. We regularly rescue animals from overcrowded shelters and provide the medical care and second chances they deserve.

This Arizona Gives Day, we have a goal to raise $10,000 to support our Emergency Medical Fund (EMF).  And thanks to a generous donor, every dollar will be matched, doubling your impact.

Last year alone, HSS spent over $80,000 on emergency medical care for animals in crisis — from life-saving surgeries to urgent treatments for illness and injury. The EMF ensures that when an animal arrives in need, we can say yes to care without hesitation.

All donations made for Arizona Gives Day go directly into this restricted, donor-funded Emergency Medical Fund, providing critical interventions that save dozens of lives each year.
