American Heart Association - Halle Heart Children's Museum

A nonprofit organization

Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Inspiring children and adults to become heart heroes.

The American Heart Association's (AHA) Halle Heart Children's Museum (HHCM) creates an educational, interactive and contemporary museum experience for children of all ages to increase awareness and prevent cardiovascular diseases. The Museum helps schools meet mandated Arizona State Educational Standards in health, science and physical education and is based on three main components - eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly and say no to tobacco. Empowering over 40,000 visitors each year to make healthy lifestyle choices, the Museum is helping to create a new generation of healthy kids. Many experts believe that this could be the first generation of Americans who do not live longer than their parents. The Museum needs your support to ensure this doesn't happen.

Before February of 2015, the Museum only saw school groups for field trips. Since then we have opened to the public and offer classes/programs focused around heart health (CPR/First Aid, toddler cooking classes and physical activity combined with music) as well as event space rental and birthday parties.
