In 2023, the Northern Arizona Book Festival expanded their mission to help fund year-long programming, including supporting organizations such as Flag Slam, NAU MFA's Cinder Skies Reading Series, Off the Rails Poetry Series and the new Youth Poetry Council, a Youth Poet Laureate and more to be announced.

While we primarily rely on grants and an entirely volunteer based board, we cannot rely on grants forever and are looking for for donors and donations to help us manage our year-long programming.

We hope to keep expanding the ways in which we can deliver high caliber, diverse and inclusive programming to the Northern Arizona Region and the Colorado Plateau. All donations will go towards supporting literary organizations, programming, paying authors, workshop hosts, venues, and continuing to help others travel to Flagstaff for our annual festival.
