Flagstaff Youth Chorale
The mission of the Flagstaff Youth Chorale is to provide music education for Flagstaff area youth from 1st through 12th grade and to participate in a variety of performance opportunities, and music enrichment activities under professional choral direction. Our vision is to create a foundation for a life-long involvement with music.
More About Us
Since 1997, the Chorale has trained more than 600 young singers, awarded more than 250 tuition scholarships, and presented over 50 concerts. In addition, the Chorale has toured throughout Arizona and the region, and collaborated with nine national and international choirs, including the world-renowned Australian Girls Choir and the Ile de France Children's Choir under the direction of Professor Francis Bardot. Singers in the choir not only have the opportunity to participate in professionally guided musical training and the two Chorale concerts per year, but also may perform with local nonprofit arts organizations such as the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra and the Master Chorale of Flagstaff.

"The Flagstaff Youth Chorale has given me many chances that I never thought possible. The list could go on for an eternity, and it's because of that that I have decided to stay as long as I have, and have been thrilled to do so year after year!"
--Matthew, member of Troubadours and graduate of Pine Tones and Dolce Cantando
"My daughter has truly found her voice with Chorale. She has gained poise and self-confidence, and has deepened her appreciation and understanding of music."
--Marcelle Coder, parent and board member
"The Flagstaff Youth Chorale is definitely one of the greatest influences in my life thus far. Not only did it provide me with a positive network of friends so close that I practically considered them my own family, but it really helped give me the encouragement and skills that I needed to go confidently in every musical direction that my life provided to me. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who was even remotely interested in music. It's a great atmosphere for learning music, and also for becoming well rounded person!"
