History

Officer Erik D. Hite was a U.S. Air Force veteran and served with the Tucson Police Department for 4 years. On June 2, 2008 Officer Erik Hite succumbed to a gunshot wound sustained the previous day by a suspect who had wounded a Pima County Sheriff’s Department deputy. His surviving wife, Nohemy Hite, started the charitable foundation, a 501c3, to preserve his legacy while serving First Responder and Active Duty Military Families on a close and personal level.

Vision

Remembering the life and sacrifice of Officer Erik D. Hite by following Godly principles and values such as integrity and empathy, we aim to assist first responders and active duty military families in obtaining long term generational wellness.

Mission

Our mission is to create a supporting network by providing education, wellness, and outreach programs for families of first responders and active duty military. We strive to alleviate the unique challenges they face, ensuring they thrive both at work and at home.

● Affordable and Secure Child Development Center with extended hours and preschool (ages 6 months-5 years)

● Free Spouse/Significant Others Support Groups

● Free Parenting Classes under the Love and Logic Curriculum

● Summer Camp Scholarships for camps of your choice

● Free Youth Wellness Retreat (ages 12-19)

● Free Adult Workshops (Financial planning, estate and trust building,
