To educate and empower women through support and networking for equality and success in the Tucson Community and surrounding areas.

The Black Women's Task Force of Tucson (BWTF) originated through the Tucson Women's Commission in 1975. We are a grass roots organization that welcomes all women.
BWTF, in collaboration with other organizations, provides scholarships to young women that wish to further their education.
BWTF, spotlights women issues, with special emphasis on domestic abuse and health care.
BWTF of Tucson, since 1975, has hosted biennial conferences which feature esteemed keynote speakers, expert panelist and dynamic workshops. These conferences are well attended and cover a range of topics that affect women and their quality of life.
