ARTabilityAZ is a statewide organization whose mission is to create an inclusive community where people with and without disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.

ARTabilityAZ is a statewide organization whose mission is to create an inclusive community where people with and without disabilities can learn through, participate in and enjoy the arts.
Our ARTeducation program provides arts education classes throughout the state. Classes are for students in kindergarten through high school and include students of all abilities. In school residencies are centered around STEAM concepts and feature the work of an artist with a disability. Our after school programs range from a ten-week Social Drama workshop, ceramics classes to four-week art exploration classes. All classes are inclusive in design and presented in accessible locations.
We provide professional development for educators, teaching artists and arts organizations. Workshops topics range from Using Universal Design for Learning in Classrooms, Start with the Arts Curriculum, Accessible Arts Programming, Audio Descriptions and other topics.
Our ARTaccess program provides technical assistance and accessibility services for cultural organizations throughout the state. We offer training programs for the staff and volunteers of cultural organizations in the areas of disability awareness and customer service. We promote accessible art opportunities through our monthly e-newsletter, online calendar on our website and through social media.
