Oracle Public Library

A nonprofit organization

Our mission is to serve individuals and families in the Oracle area by providing informational, educational, and recreational resources.

116 YEARS OF SERVICE TO ORACLE AND THE TRI-COMMUNITY

From its beginning in 1903, as a Reading Room, the Oracle Public Library has been run by volunteers. Today, a dedicated group of 25-30 volunteers keep the doors open more than 40 hours a week, take care of building maintenance, and upkeep. None of the cheerful, friendly people who are there to assist you are paid.

The Library is the heart of our community. We provide books, media (DVDs, etc.), public access computers, WiFi, and a library book club--all FREE to residents of Pinal County. Printing, copying, and fax services are available for a nominal fee.

Visit our Southwest Room to browse our special collection of fiction and non-fiction books on the southwest, and enjoy the display of Hohokam artifacts from the Alice Carpenter Collection.

We partner with Oracle School District's Mountain Vista School to provide a summer reading program. This cooperative effort provides activities and learning opportunities for over 100 students.

We continue to update with additional storage, carpeting, shelving, furniture, and of course, new materials for the collection in a variety of formats. We are also responsible for capital improvements such as parking lot paving and a new roof.

WE NEED YOUR DONATIONS TO CONTINUE PROVIDING THESE SERVICES TO OUR COMMUNITY!
