Green Valley Fire District

We are a non profit foundation committed to enriching the lives of our firefighters, their families, and our community by funding educational and innovative learning opportunities.

Our Foundation was initially established as a small committee of like minded individuals in 2014, who wanted to bring forth additional educational opportunities to the firefighters and their families serving the Green Valley Fire District. In November of 2015, we filed for a 501C3 and we were granted that status in January of 2016.

Over the years, since receiving our Charitable Organization Status, our two main fundraising events have been a Pickle-ball tournament, which has grown beyond our expectations, and a formal dinner and dancing gala-style ball. Both of these events, with the help of our generous sponsors, are the main sources of fundraising, which has allowed us to distribute the monies earned back to our scholarship recipients.
