This is Why I SARSEF

A student asking “why?”.  A teacher witnessing a student's 'aha' moment. A PRISM mentor proudly introducing their student researcher at their presentation symposium. A Racing the Sun kart team working collaboratively to ensure that their kart crosses the finish line. A camp activity that builds friendships through science. An interaction at Arizona STEM Adventure that motivates a student. A spark of an idea that builds a student's critical thinking and problem solving skills. 

These are just some of my favorite moments that are SARSEF. These are some of the reasons why I engage with families, share community stories, celebrate students, and advocate for science education. They're also the moments that remind me that SARSEF's vision of every child, thinking critically, solving problems is a reality being worked toward every day.
