Two recent graduating students, Fatima and Alicia, secured full-ride scholarships with the assistance of our College Path mentorship—Fatima to Amherst College and Alicia to Rice University. Both Fatima and Alicia credited Rosie’s House with being a beacon of hope and support during their personal development in their college application essays. Alicia, who has been a student at Rosie’s House for seven years reflected, “Rosie’s House provides you with everything you need to make your dreams a reality.” Fatima, a student at Rosie’s House for five years, reflected on a moment early on in her musical path in which her mother could no longer afford to pay for piano lessons stating that “finding Rosie’s House felt like a light in the tunnel.”
