Pima Animal Care Center is the only shelter in Pima County's 9,000+ square miles that never turns away a pet in need. They take in and care for over 18,400 pets each year and over 91% of those pets find new homes through fosters, adopters, and rescue partners. But this kind of life saving can only happen with the help of donors like you.
Your donations to the Friends of PACC go directly to closing gaps in care like specialty medical treatments, programming needs, and other life-saving resources.
Friends of PACC donors provide critical resources including:
- Off-site specialty medical care and medications.
- Medical equipment and staff training (in orthopedic surgery, dental work, and other specialty treatments).
- Staffing positions like one of the full-time veterinarians, a play-group specialist to work with our dogs, and a cat care tech focused on the health and well-being of the most vulnerable cats and kittens at the shelter.
- Essential supplies like kitten formula and bottles, airline crates for rescue transport, harnesses for dogs with behavioral needs, and so much more.
- Our Keeping Families Together fund that supports qualifying families with vet bill assistance, supplies, referrals, and other resources to keep pets in homes.
- Our Pup in Boots community outreach efforts that makes sure our neighbors who are facing homelessness with their pets are safe and healthy through the provision of supplies and vet care.
